The new 2015 Vauxhall Corsa revealed – debuts at Paris
The King of the supermini market in the UK is the Ford Fiesta, but the Vauxhall Corsa isn’t all that far behind and Vauxhall are doubtless hoping the arrival of the new Vauxhall Corsa in early 2015 will help steal customers away from Ford. Vauxhall hasn’t messed too much with the fourth generation Corsa, and although every body panel is new it’s still very much a Corsa. Yes, the nose is more ‘modern’ Vauxhall and there are changes everywhere when you start to look – like the ‘blade running down the lower doors – but nothing that will frighten off the existing 80,000 plus buyers the Corsa goes home with each year.
JAPANESE car maker Mazda has taken the wraps off its latest generation Mazda2 model. The compact hatch will be given its public debut at the Paris Motor Show in October. Taking many of its styling cues from the recently launched Mazda3 and mid-size Mazda6, the firm’s new small car also boasts a full range of its ‘Skyactiv’ technology focused on improving driving dynamics and boosting efficiency and economy.

Ferrari continues its tantalising drip feed of information and images on the new California, with new footage of the roof in action appearing on the car’s website (www.ferraricalifornia.com) today. The fully automatic electro-hydraulic folding metal roof is a two-piece unit that converts the coupe to convertible in just 14 seconds. When the roof is up, the boot has a 360-litre capacity, shrinking to 260 when the hard-top is folded away.
